From the Volga to the Ganga
वोल्गा से गंगा
Volga Se Ganga is a 1943 book by Rahul Sankrityayan that follows people from the banks of the Volga to the banks of the Ganga. Most of us read it at school. We borrowed the title because it says exactly what we do: things travel from one river to the other.
The mark is a confluence. The blue river is the Volga, the saffron one is the Ganga. They meet and flow together without mixing, like the rivers at Prayagraj.
